Gerer le stress avec le numérique en éducation : une recherche-action en C2i

Abstract : The apparent simplicity of technological use covers complex techniques and economic models. ICTs have thus revealed social fractures related to access to data and their use. They include communication urgency, disparities in digital literacy and skills acquisition. One way to regulate stress is to accept a reasonable degree of optimism bias such as illusions of control and competence. The illusion of control is the projection of decision-making capacities onto an event that does not offer control. A player thus gently rolls the dice to get a low number. It regulates the negative effects of stress by offering the possibility of defending oneself against the pressure of the moment by carrying out acts without consequences or by postponing the adjustment of a behavior. The expression of the will is possible even if it is in the conditional: "I could leave later if...". With digital, the illusion of control manifests itself through unnecessary occupation, procrastination, delegating one's work to a group or a tool. The illusion of competence has been studied in financial circles where expert predictions rarely turn out to be correct. People give credence to an absurd proposition if it is supported by the community. With digital, this illusion manifests itself in the belief that software has become so simple that owning it is tantamount to mastering it. All that remains is to learn how to use them, which joins the Rank Xerox complex where the student seems to believe that he has assimilated the content of the document he has photocopied. During the 2015-2016 academic year, these elements were tested with a population of Master 1 learners at IAE Perpignan. The action-research methodology, adapted to the empirical educational field, was conducted with two C2i groups organized by the Platinium service of the UPVD. The learners had to create a website without resorting to pre-existing content, apart from some free resources. This qualitative study, in education, is anchored in Information and Communication Sciences whose critical posture comes to shade an original work of psychosociology.
